    Look who’s in this morning’s NNBW! We’re extremely proud to see the local business media covering the collective- and that they really get what we’re doing and want to support it. The moment that we let John Seelmeyer know what we were getting started here he wanted to come over and check it out. Meeting with him for the interview was more like walking through our space and showing it to a friend- and someone who really found value in Co-working and what can be accomplished here in Reno.

    Come to our launch party this Thursday!

    If you’re in Reno this Thursday night, January 21st, come to our Launch Party from 7-9pm. After over a year and a half of drumming up support, scoping properties and building the plans for Reno’s first co-working community, we’re officially open for business and want you to check out our digs.

    What began with Colin and I working once a week from a booth in a local coffee shop has materialized within the most inspiring building in Reno- 250 Bell St.; also home to Cathexes, REA250, the Clean Energy Center and more- as well as the birthplace of the Reno Bike Project and Bootleg Courier. So since we’re so excited about opening, we want you with us when we celebrate.

    We’ll have beer & wine on hand, and some really awesome folks here you can connect with. You’ll be able to tour our setup, mingle and see a small featurette about the future of work. Also, everyone who comes to the party will receive a free ticket to the Sol Jibe show later that night at the Knitting Factory! See you Thursday!

    Free Coworking Drop-in Week

    All this week, come work at the Reno Collective for free! We’re offering free drop-ins all week from 8am to 6pm. No appointments or reservations needed- just show up, grab a cup of coffee, plug in your laptop and crank away!

    So far, we’ve had a broad range of people trying out the community, so you’re bound to meet a few new faces you might be collaborating with in the future!
