Too Many Meetups! We’re combining developer meetups into one Reno Developers Group.
You may have noticed that the developer community Reno has been growing by leaps and bounds. Along with that growth we’ve seen an explosion in the number of language specific meetups and groups. There’s RenoPHP, reno.js, NSReno, reno.rb, and that’s just the groups meeting at the Collective!
We keep hearing that it’s sometimes tough to get out to all the meetings in a month so starting in February we’re merging our meetup branches into master. All the groups will meet on the same night. Sound crazy? It might be but think of this: Now you don’t have to decide. Show up to our developer meeting, enjoy the top-notch presentations, and stick around afterwards to discuss the latest happenings in your language’s community.
Feel like hacking on something? That’s what hacknight is for! Hacknight is free and open to the public on the second Wednesday of each month from 5:30-10pm. Work on anything you like!
New combined meeting night: 4th Monday of each month from 6-8pm. The first will be on February 24th.
